The Volvo S90 belongs to the range of rear wheel drive cars and vehicles that were built by Volvo, the car manufacturer from Sweden. This vehicle was manufactured and built during the 1980s and the 1990s. Just like the range of vehicles that it belonged to, the Volvo S90 were crafted and created so as to tickle the interest and appeal of the American market. Volvo would be selecting the overall winner. There would only be one winner, of course, and he or she would be named “America’s Greatest Hometown Hero.” Not only would his or her efforts be given much recognition and praise. The winner would not just be given a set of Volvo P1800 parts or accessories. The hometown hero winner would be given one new Volvo car every three years – for the entire duration of his life. All these just because of his or her efforts at trying to change the environment or his or her community to make it better.

According to the company, they continually recognize these hometown heroes because they do believe that such heroic contributions that individuals could do to the environment and the community are exemplary. In fact, these heroes also are great inspirations for many other people.

To increase awareness when it comes to traffic safety issues. To reduce the number of accidents in humanitarian aid transports. These are just two of the main aims and goals of the Volvo Group. You see, the Volvo Group is currently initiating cooperation along with forty other humanitarian aid organizations around the globe so as to be able to make these aims become reality. To assist with this endeavor, Volvo’s own accident research team would also be contributing and providing more information to help out with the analysis.

A declaration of intent was signed by Volvo. Now this declaration of intent actually includes cooperation in the whole area of road safety with Fleet Forum. Fleet Forum is actually a voluntary association of around forty humanitarian aid organizations worldwide. Of course, they would also try to formulate new ideas and provide recommendations as per measures and steps to reduce the number of accidents. This whole project would be continuously done up until the year 2009.

A quick history on the Volvo XC90. What is it?

We have developed the Volvo XC90 Sport especially for them, with a dynamic sport chassis, stiffer anti-roll bars, firmer shock absorbers, a sport-tuned, speed dependent steering system, and larger 19 inch wheels.”

Customers are sure demanding for a newer Volvo XC90 for it cannot be denied that the market’s preferences and lifestyles are changing. And with the sportier Volvo XC90, it sure goes to show that Volvo is listening to what their market is telling them.
